I’ve recently returned to Ark on the Astraeos map with my wife. Is there any way to increase the weight capacity? I’m having trouble unloading resources from my dinosaurs.

[Sep 09, 2026 01:30 AM UTC] baronvonscruff (155014049296285696): If your issue is just moving items from your dinos then if you don't have the dedi storage yet then you can always use the Omni controller(i believe its called that) to move items enmasse from your dinos to storage boxes

The reason I asked is that I remembered a trick where if you killed your in-game character, it would respawn with more weight capacity, but I just realized that might have been a mechanic back in Ark: Survival Evolved, not Ascended!<@155014049296285696> you got a point! I completely forgot about the Omni tool and dedi storage. I'm still in the early stages of the game right now, but I'll definitely start using the Omni tool to clear out my tames.
